Imagine our surprise as we wake up to the new White House United We Serve initiative.  Being in the business of serving others for so long, we are excited about this opportunity to share in the wave of service to our communities.  We have accepted the United We Serve Challenge and invite you to as well.  Being in the business of serving others, this is a natural for our organization.
Dedicated to serving the needs of our Military, their families and our communities, we are issuing a challenge of our own. 

Mow a yard of a service member deployed, wash a car, offer to babysit for a Military mom that needs a few hours of peace, buy a cup of coffee, stop and thank a Service Member for their service, take time to listen. 

Join us here in Texas to offer our Service Members weekend retreats where they can experience rest, healing and the opportunity to form new Battle Buddy relationships.  Help us come along side them in their time of hardship and need.  Opportunities are available for volunteers, sponsorships for families that include retreat weekends, emergency needs and help to keep the facility running for them.

About Us

Being the daughter of a veteran and the mother of a career US Army daughter and son-in-law, I have had a heart and calling to support and serve them and their units for many years. However, after the events of September 11th, I was motivated to serve a greater need than just those of my children, and my personal calling became the combined efforts of the non-profit organization, United We Serve. United We Serve is a faith-based organization whose mission is to adopt troops and their families during their entire deployment and to provide peace of mind to our soldiers with the knowledge that someone is there to care for and walk alongside their loved ones during this time of separation. Through networking and facilitating with individuals and other organizations, United We Serve considers it our Charge to Keep to stand in the gap, not only by providing a wide variety of practical, hands-on support and resources for our troops and their families, but also by creating a broader community awareness of the sacrifices of our military and their families; and ultimately, offering everyone the opportunity to “Serve our Military As They Serve Us.”
